Mountain Bike Spine Injuries - Some Statistics

This article wasn't written to scare people out of riding, it was written to educate people about the precautions that they should be taking to ensure they can continue to ride in the future. protecting your spine in this sport would be similar to wearing a seatbelt in a car... without it if you got in a crash, you could be seriously hurt. I would love to see your stance on an article about airbags, or seatbelt safety, because by your logic, those things are only in cars to make you afraid to drive.

yeah well I was sitting on one in store and noticed the shock was really stiff. I guess it was just the PSI. Im always used to a coil compared to Air. I dont really like air for DH or that stuff but Im suer it works fine for smooth stuff..
